![]() Within that though, there's also a massive varying between one version of a map and another - whether it be different mini-bosses or just the events, you never get a playthrough that's exactly the same but the system feels much more intelligent in level design than Curious Expedition's ever did for me. I'm not sure about the latest content on Curous Expedition, but my impression is that RE:IS has more from last time I looked at Curious Expedition.Īs a general guide, there's 2-3 different maps to every level of expedition, and 5 levels of expedition per playthrough. That said though, to score well, RE:IS is a tough one to beat. Well, for one thing, so's RE:IS - new DLC coming out very soon.Īs for difficulty, I'd say Curous Expedition is marginally harder once you know how to play both of them, but there's a much longer learning curve for RE:IS - though that's in a good way: it keeps you entertained and remains reasonably challenging but still feels pleasantly casual - and how hard you make it is largely dependant on how quickly you want to progress to the more difficult maps: at the start, I'd recommend only doing the 1-3 star expeditions if you want to finish.
